Where women are honoured, there the gods rejoice. Where they are not honoured, all actions remain fruitless.

Fortitude, forgiveness, self-control, non-stealing, purity, sense-restraint, wisdom, learning, truthfulness, and freedom from anger — these ten are the marks of dharma.
